"Taxi company obviously took the job based on a Mercedes Vito but then said, too late for me to make any alternative arrangements, that they only had a Toyota. Not what I paid for or wanted but had to go with it as had no time to sort alternative. Won’t be using taxi code again. Was prepared to pay the much higher price for a decent car but ended up with normal car that I could have paid 1/2 that fee for. "

This did not happen, however it was not really necessary in this case and communication from the driver was good. The same could not be said for our journey to the airport with you, which I have not been given the opportunity to provide feedback on."

"Our arrival was early. The driver had texted us requesting that we let him know when we had landed. Two minutes later I texted confirming arrival. No response. Several phone calls still with no response. Nearly one hour later the taxi arrived. All other passengers waiting for pre booked taxis were collected early as the drivers were watching the flight information. Sadly, this hadn't happened with our taxi. Shame! Nice taxi and polite and friendly driver. Tried to complaint to Taxicode, but they didn't answer or return my calls when message left about my problem. Will book direct with local taxi firms in future."

"The initial booking was substituted on the day needed by two cars, each for four people. The pickup was fine, but collection was late by 5 minutes and 15 minutes. Having regard to the outcome we could have arranged two cars at the outset, and would not have had to pay such a large amount. Overall, disappointing. We did tip the driver."
